A strong company culture doesn’t stop at the warehouse door. It shows up in how we support our people, how we celebrate their wins, and how we build genuine relationships beyond the job itself. Our Sipena Logistics company culture is rooted in a simple belief: when people feel supported as whole individuals, not just workers, they thrive. And when they thrive, so does the business.
This December 2025, we’re celebrating that belief through two meaningful moments that reflect who we are and how we approach employee retention in logistics: our team’s participation in HYROX Melbourne 2025 and our annual Christmas gathering.
Sipena Logistics Company Culture Supports Holistic Growth
The logistics industry is fast-paced, demanding, and often physically challenging. That’s why we take a different approach. Instead of focusing solely on productivity and output, Sipena Logistics company culture prioritises holistic growth by supporting our team members both inside and outside of work.
We recognise that our people have goals, passions, families, and ambitions beyond their roles. Whether it’s athletic pursuits, personal development, education, or simply spending quality time with loved ones, we actively encourage balance and growth in every direction.
Because when our people grow, our company grows with them.
Our Team at HYROX Melbourne 2025
On December 13, 2025, three members of the Sipena Logistics team: Boris Peña Lopez, Pedro Serrano, and Juan Diego Naranjo Castano, took on one of the world’s most demanding fitness competitions at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Competing in the HYROX Men Pro category, they faced an intense challenge: eight 1km runs, each followed by a high-intensity functional workout station. It’s a true test of endurance, strength, and mental resilience.
This level of competition mirrors the qualities we value every day at Sipena Logistics: discipline, commitment, teamwork, and grit. But what matters most isn’t just that they competed. It’s that Sipena Logistics actively supports these personal pursuits.
We believe that when team members challenge themselves outside of work, they return with renewed confidence, focus, and energy. Their personal achievements strengthen our collective culture, and that’s a cornerstone of Sipena Logistics employee retention.
Building Real Connections
A week after HYROX, on December 20, our team will come together at our venue for our annual Christmas celebration.
This year’s gathering will be focused on connection.
While some team members will be travelling or enjoying the holiday shutdown, those who remain will share a relaxed lunch, drinks, and genuine conversations. Our founder Boris, alongside Claude (National BDM), Alex (Site Supervisor), and several team members and workers, will spend time simply being present with one another.
Each attendee will receive a small Christmas gift as a sincere thank-you. A reminder that they are seen, valued, and appreciated.
Moments like these reinforce what Sipena Logistics company culture truly stands for: respect, recognition, and belonging.
Sipena Invests in People, Not Just Positions

At first glance, a fitness competition and a Christmas lunch may seem unrelated. But they’re connected by a single principle that defines Sipena Logistics company culture; we invest in people, not just job titles.
Supporting our team at HYROX shows that personal goals matter here. Sharing a Christmas meal shows that relationships matter just as much as results. Recognising individual contributions reminds everyone that success is never built alone.
This people-first approach reflects good business culture. Companies that support personal growth see higher engagement, stronger loyalty, and better teamwork. But more importantly, they build workplaces where people actually want to stay.
Employee Retention in Logistics Starts With Real Relationships

Employee retention in logistics is notoriously challenging. Long hours, physical demands, and high turnover are common across the industry.
We don’t rely on contracts or incentives alone to retain our workforce. Instead, Sipena Logistics employee retention is built on trust, respect, and real human connection.
We organise activities that bring our team together outside of work pressures, whether that’s sporting events, social gatherings, or celebrating personal milestones. These shared experiences create bonds that go beyond shifts and schedules.
Leadership visibility also plays a critical role. Boris and the leadership team regularly visit sites and work alongside our teams. When leaders show up, listen, and lend a hand, it sends a clear message: everyone matters.
These site visits create space for honest conversations, feedback, and support. Whether it’s discussing schedules, addressing challenges, or sharing ideas for improvement, our teams know they’re heard.
Growing Together at Sipena Logistics
As we close out 2025, we’re incredibly proud of what our team has achieved, on-site, in competition, and in the everyday moments that define our culture.
To Boris, Pedro, and Juan Diego: we’re cheering you on at HYROX Melbourne 2025.
To everyone joining us for our Christmas gathering: thank you for being part of this journey.
And to the wider Sipena family, wherever you’re celebrating this season: you are the heart of our company.
Here’s to continued growth, professional, personal, and everything in between.
Here’s to a Sipena Logistics company culture where people belong.
